Super Troops are the most powerful units in Clash of Clans. This guide covers every Super Troop, the best ones to boost in 2026, and when to use each in your attacks.
Super Troops are boosted versions of regular troops with dramatically enhanced stats and special abilities. You can boost any eligible troop for 3 days using Dark Elixir, and you can have up to two different Super Troops active at the same time. Choosing the right Super Troops for your attack strategy is one of the highest-impact decisions you make in Clash of Clans.
How Super Troops Work
To boost a Super Troop, you need:
- The base troop at the required level (usually level 8+)
- 25,000 Dark Elixir per boost (3-day duration)
- The relevant TH level unlocked
Super Troops count as their base troop type for army composition purposes — you can mix Super Barbarians with regular Barbarians in the same army. Once boosted, Super Troops have entirely new abilities that make them dramatically more powerful than their base versions.
Best Super Troops to Use in 2026
Super Witch (S-Tier)
The Super Witch is arguably the most valuable Super Troop in 2026. Unlike the regular Witch which spawns skeletons passively, the Super Witch spawns Big Boy Skeletons — giant skeleton versions that deal and tank massive damage. A small number of Super Witches can spawn an overwhelming skeleton army that floods defenses.
Best used in: Super Witch spam, hybrid attacks, CWL war attacks
Super Barbarian (A-Tier)
Super Barbarians have drastically increased HP and damage compared to regular Barbarians. More importantly, they become temporarily invisible to defenses when their Super Ability activates — allowing them to close the distance to high-value targets without taking fire.
Best used in: Ground push support, King walk supplementation
Super Minion (A-Tier)
Super Minions fire a powerful Inferno-style beam that rapidly destroys defenses. They are a core component of Zap Lalo and Blizzard Lalo strategies because they provide reliable air DPS that can burn through Inferno Towers.
Best used in: LaLo variants, air attacks
Super Archer (B-Tier)
Super Archers have extremely long attack range and deal high single-target damage. Their Super Ability stuns and stops targets briefly. They are excellent at picking off defenses from outside their range — ideal for supporting a Queen Walk.

Super Wall Breaker (A-Tier)
Super Wall Breakers are the most efficient wall destruction tool in the game. Unlike regular Wall Breakers that target the nearest wall section, Super Wall Breakers target the wall section nearest to the center of the base — consistently opening a path straight through. Three or four Super Wall Breakers can open a direct path to the core.
