BaseCOC (“we”, “our”, “us”) is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect when you use BaseCOC, how we use it, and what choices you have. We keep data collection to the absolute minimum needed to operate this site.

4. Cookies & Local Storage

BaseCOC uses browser localStorage (not cookies) to remember your chat username and sound preferences between visits. This data never leaves your device and is not accessible to us or any third party.

Our hosting providers may set standard session cookies for performance and security purposes. Third-party advertising partners, including Google AdSense, may also set cookies on your device to serve personalized ads based on your browsing activity. You can control or disable these cookies through your browser settings or opt out at Google Ads Settings.

5. Advertising

BaseCOC displays advertisements served by Google AdSense. These ads help us keep the site free for all players.

  • Google AdSense uses cookies to serve ads relevant to your interests.
  • Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this or other websites.
  • You may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google's Ads Settings or www.aboutads.info.
  • Non-personalized ads may still be shown based on page content rather than user data.

6. Data Retention

Community chat messages are retained for 30 days, after which they are automatically deleted. Reported messages may be retained for up to 90 days for moderation purposes. localStorage data persists in your browser until you clear it manually.

7. Children's Privacy

Clash of Clans is rated for players aged 13 and over. BaseCOC is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect any personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has submitted information through our chat, please contact us and we will delete it.

8. Your Rights (GDPR & CCPA)

Depending on your location, you may have the following rights regarding your data:

  • Request deletion of your chat messages at any time by contacting us.
  • Clear your localStorage data at any time via your browser settings.
  • Ask us what data we hold associated with your chosen username.
  • EU/EEA residents (GDPR): right to access, rectify, erase, or restrict processing of your personal data.
  • California residents (CCPA): right to know what personal data is collected, opt out of its sale, and request deletion.
  • Opt out of personalized advertising via Google Ads Settings at any time.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page will reflect any changes. Continued use of BaseCOC after changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
